Hi, I am Karen Lewis, a licensed clinical social worker based in Bergenfield, Bergen County, New Jersey. I work with people who worry more than they want to. You may worry so much that it causes you to feel stuck, paralyzed or unproductive. You may feel there is no other way, but there are always hidden reasons for your feelings. I can help you uncover the reason for these symptoms and feelings. This will free you to live life with less stress allowing you to be more productive and content.

I am also an experienced grief and bereavement specialist, working individually with people who have had a myriad of losses. These may include the loss of a loved one, miscarriage or stillbirth, loss of a job and one’s identity, the breakup of a relationship, deterioration in one’s health, and many more. Grieving is an individual process and I will treat you with respect and dignity, while we work together on this difficult path.

I have extensive experience working with individuals who want to make a change and reduce their unpleasant symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression and grief. You will be empowered to succeed in achieving your goals. I will work together with you to facilitate your own unique pathways toward growth, change and healing.
